A national campaign that Mediation was associated with has been recognised for excellence in the prestigious 2008 Golden Quill Awards.

Congratulations to the National Prescribing Service for its “Know Your Medicines” campaign which has been awarded in the multi-audience section of Division One – Communications Management.

The Golden Quills are awarded by the International Association of Business Communicators and will be presented in New York later this year.

Mediation Communications designed and produced artwork for a number of the campaign’s brochures.

IABC’s Gold Quill Awards program has been the hallmark of excellence in business communication for more than 35 years. The Oscars of the business and marketing/advertising industry, the Gold Quill Awards is expected to attract the cream of the world’s business and marketing and advertising industries at the awards ceremony.

The winners represent the best in organisational communication and their work plans serve as best practices for professional communicators across communication disciplines. This year’s competition was sponsored by Towers Perrin and received over 1040 entries from 30 countries. Of these, 116 were selected to receive awards: 41 Awards of Excellence, 73 Awards of Merit and two student awards.

Generic Medicines Campaign

NPS’ winning project – the generic medicines campaign – involved tremendous work and input from NPS’ Strategic communications team, Community Quality Use of Medicines Program (CQUM) and Education and Quality Assurance Program (EQAP), Evaluation and Publishing was supported by every team within the organisation.
